I love tracking the ‘Walking Dead’ tag and seeing people’s reactions to the episodes each week.  I’m so happy there is such a large following! :D

Well here’s my two cents: Judge, Jury, Executioner (Season 2, Episode 11)

I really thought the show was setting up for Carl to shoot Shane in Rick’s defense.
 Totally wrong.

At first, I thought it was funny when Carl was throwing rocks at the zombie stuck in the mud, because that’s exactly the kind of thing a kid would do.  However, I was very surprised when he risked getting so close, because I thought he was always very smart in the graphic novels. 
 Now there are so many Carl haters.

Dale… very unexpected and very early.  
 My first thought was “What about Andrea??”  That was such a unique aspect of the story.. I really thought the writers would tie it in eventually.
 And the tainted meat!  That was a ridiculously awesome way to go.. why change it?? 

Overall, I just have to remind myself that I know the show will not follow the book exactly.  And that’s okay for two reasons.. #1) Additions like Daryl   and  #2) I will always have the original story to read!
